This pie safe may look 200 hundred years old, but it is not, though it did take 3 years to complete.
Historicly used in the kitchen to keep flies away from baked goods , this pie safe is perfectly fine for storing other kitchen items as well. Need to open a bottle? Just use the bulldog, a handy vintage bottle cap opener. A pie safe is not just for the kitchen anymore, it works well for storing hats, gloves, shoes, and other things in the entry hall too.
